SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—In advance of the arrival of fall sport student-athletes in August, the Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics Department would like to make those aware of the following important information:

Move-In Schedule
All student-athletes should pick up key cards to their dormitory inside Spring Point Residence Hall upon arrival to campus. Move-in times will be communicated by coaches.

USCAA Compliance and Sports Information
Upon arrival, Director of Athletics Matt Richards and Assistant Director of Athletics Ethan Wells will present all student-athletes with eligibility and compliance policies set forth by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and SMCC sports information standards that all must adhere to.

Athletic Training
In accordance with USCAA and SMCC Athletic Department policies, all student-athletes are required to provide medical information and be cleared by Head Athletic Trainer Sarah Daniels prior to their preseason participation. Daniels and Maine Medical Partners will coordinate physicals with all teams upon arrival to campus. Student-athletes are required to complete ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND CONCUSSION TESTING prior to their arrival.
