SeaWolves Baseball Dominates In Weekend Round Robin

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team collected four wins over the weekend, hosting a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) round robin to include Great Bay Community College (GBCC), NHTI, Central Maine Community College (CMCC), and Holyoke Community College.

Head Coach Dave Walsh reflected on his team's effort, "We put runs on the board this weekend, outscoring our opponents 42-7. The offense logged three double digit hit totals and took walks as they came. Our pitching rotation kept with its program and solidified spots in relief—everyone saw the field. With two more weeks remaining in the fall schedule, this team is really starting to take form."

SMCC improves to 9-1 overall.

The SeaWolves are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 25 when they entertain the Mustangs from CMCC for a single nine-inning contest. First pitch from Graves Athletic Field is set for 4 p.m. LIVE STATS.
