UNITY, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team completed the season sweep of the Unity College Rams, this time winning on the road 81-58 Wednesday, Jan. 16.

First-year Ian Regan (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) led the way with a season-high 20 points on six made three-pointers—accounting for half of the SeaWolf makes from downtown. Senior captain Atencio Martin (Kittery, Maine) grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds while Anderson Kavutse (Westbrook, Maine) went for his steady 11 points, and Jacobee Burpee (Manchester, N.H.) his seven assists.

Alike the SMCC women, the men committed only one turnover and out-rebounded the opponent by almost double. It was also the sixth time this season the SeaWolves have held their opponent to under 60 points.

Unity's Hunter Engel was his team's top scorer with 19.

Following the game, Head Coach Matt Richards reflected, "Everyone found their way into the scoresheet tonight and that's something we as a coaching staff love to see. We scored the basketball with some efficiency, and most importantly took care of business yet again on the road."

The action continues when SMCC travels to the University of Maine at Machias on Sunday, Jan. 20 for a 3 p.m. tip. WATCH. For game day weather updates visit https://twitter.com/SMCCseawolves.
