PAUL SMITH'S, New York—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team earned its first Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) win 83-81 at Paul Smith's College on Saturday, Nov. 19.

Head Coach Matt Richards commented, "Paul Smith's shot the ball extremely well and challenged our defense all game long. We were able to match that scoring with Pyzynski and Briggs giving us a big lift along the perimeter. Briggs' contribution off the bench proved to be the difference in the game."

The Seawolves climb to 6-2 overall, and get to 1-1 in conference action. Paul Smith's stands 3-5 overall, 1-2 YSCC.

SMCC will finish the weekend at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Sunday, Nov. 20. Tip-off in New York is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. WATCH
