SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Interim Director of Athletics Ethan Wells published the findings of the semi-annual Fall 2024 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—Southern Maine Community College Athletics and its Hall of Fame Selection Committee named five to join an elite group of 50 individuals and two teams for their accomplishments both on the playing surface and in the College community.
