PAUL SMITHS, N.Y.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team took care of business on the road at Paul Smith's College 97-36 in its 2018-19 Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) opener on Sunday, Nov. 11.

The SeaWolves improve to 5-0 overall and 1-0 YSCC. Paul Smith's drops to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in conference action.

Head Coach Katie Bergeron reflected, "It's always good to get that first conference win under you—especially on the road. It was a team effort today getting huge contributions from our bench and in all phases of play. Today's result was the first of many for this group and I look forward to carrying this momentum this rest of the way."
