Lady SeaWolves Trouble Rams At Home

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team earned a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) win at The HUB 77-21 over Unity College on Thursday, Nov. 21.

The home team scoring was spread among 12 players led by senior captain Adrianna White (Lisbon, Maine) who finished with her first double-double of the season at 19 points and 11 rebounds. First-year Tara Flanders (Windham, Maine) was next in scoring posting 10 points on a perfect 5-5 shooting. First-year Lilly Brown (Thetford, Vt.) dished five assists and rookie Bailey Whitney (Norway, Maine) came up with four steals.

Unity's Marissa Sweeney led her team with six points and nine rebounds.

SMCC led for the entirety and outperformed Unity in all shooting categories.

The SeaWolves remain undefeated at 9-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play—leading the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCC) in wins. Unity dips to 1-5 overall.
