
ALBANY, N.Y. – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's soccer team fell 1-0 on the road against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Panthers got on the board early, scoring the game's lone goal in the opening minutes when Mya Wright finished a setup from Ka'ena Kehano.
Despite the early setback, the Seawolves settled in and applied steady pressure throughout the match. Alexis Kelsea(Auburn, Maine) led the team with six shots, including one on target, while captain Isabella Tanis (Bangor, Maine) and senior defender Tiana Salazar (Windham, Maine) each added chances of their own.
SMCC outshot ACPHS 11-3 overall, but couldn't find the back of the net, as the Panthers' keeper made three saves to preserve the clean sheet.

- Aubrey Gilbert (Farmingdale, Maine) made 2 saves in net for the Seawolves.
- SMCC recorded 11 total shots, 3 on goal.
