NHTI Lynx host the Seawolves of Southern Maine CC. This one should be epic. Last year, SMCC beat NHTI in the Conference Final, and went on the win the National Title. NHTI's Lynx have not forgotten and are on a mission this year to settle the score. At the moment NHTI is ranked #9 in the country, and SMCC is #3 after the most recent USCAA Coaches Poll.
Despite being ranked five spots higher, SMCC lost in their own building to NHTI earlier this year by 13, 75-62. The NHTI Lynx are also the hottest team in the YSCC right now, riding a 10-game winning streak. SMCC just had their own winning streak snapped in their most recent game, losing 63-31 to Army Prep.
This is a game were the Lynx can send a message not just to their rivals from SMCC, but also to the national ranks. Will the Seawolves get their revenge and even the season series? Or will the Lynx grow their winning streak to 11 games?
