South Portland – Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Golf team hosted the visiting Moose from University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) and Great Bay Community College of New Hampshire at Sable Oaks for today’s Yankee Small College Conference Match.
The visitors from Great Bay Community College shot a combined 346 taking top team honors while the host Seawolves shot a 377 to place second. The Moose from UMA finished third with a 383.
Winning top individual honors was the pair from Great
Bay Community College’s Kyle Gagne shooting a 74 and teammate
Devon Miller finishing with a 75. Placing third on the day
was SMCC’s Ben Chaine (Bridgton, ME)
shooting a 81. Other SMCC notable scores was Grayson
Waterman (Berwick, ME) who shot an 85 placing him sixth
overall on the day.
