Sonya O’Tash played two seasons (2007-09) as a contributing member of the women’s basketball program. As a forward, O’Tash led her team in points per game (PPG) both seasons—and in her second season was voted YSCC Player of the Year and a USCAA All-American. She helped lead her team to a total combined 27-3 YSCC record, a conference championship in 2008, and a national tournament appearance in the same season. Spanning her career with the SeaWolves, O’Tash averaged 15.5 PPG, 8.8 REB/G, 3.1 AST/G, and 2.5 STL/G; and by result a spot on the YSCC Twin Decades Team. O’Tash earned her associates degree in Liberal Studies.
