Mike Brown (Men’s Basketball ‘01) was a two time Maine Small College Conference All-Star as well as an academic all-conference selection.  He was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, a national academic organization based on his performance in the classroom.  At time of induction Brown ranked 10^th all-time at the college for average assists per game and 16^th all-time for steals in a career. Brown continued his basketball career after SMCC and played two more seasons for NCAA Division II program Green Mountain College.  Brown is the owner and CEO of Hoop Culture a basketball apparel and production company.
