Mike Welch (baseball ‘83) was a catcher on the 1982 and 1983 baseball teams that won back-to-back New England Small College Conference titles. During those two seasons Welch was perfect behind the plate, and did not commit one error. He finished with a career batting average of .362 while hitting twelve home runs. Welch resides in Greenville, SC, and currently works in the law enforcement field.
