The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team picked up another win during their weekend trip to New York City. The Seawolves beat Kings College 11-0 in a single game that was mercy-ruled after five innings.
Freshman pitcher Matt Turnage (Waterboro, ME) got the win for SMCC. Turnage threw a 2-hitter over five innings that included 9 strikeouts and no walks. He produced on the offensive side as well tallying 2 hits and 2 runs on the day. Sophomore Donnie Cray (Gardiner, ME) topped off an impressive weekend driving in 4 RBIs with a single and a double.
The Seawolves now sit at 11-9 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
