Seawolves Drop Final Game at Bridgton

Bridgton, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team fell to Bridgton Academy this afternoon 11-2. Freshman Michael Calabrese (Dover, NH) led the Seawolves offense with two singles, while sophomore Donnie Cray (Gardiner, ME) turned in a RBI single.

The Seawolves move to 18-16-1 overall.  The team's 7-1 conference record has positioned them in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) championship game against Vermont Technical College. The Seawolves won three out of their four games against Vermont Tech back on April 14th and 15th.  SMCC will host the YSCC 9-inning championship game this Saturday, April 28th at the Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach.  Gates open at 1:00PM with the first pitch slated for 2:00PM.
