Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) beat Lakes Region Community College this evening 100-34.  In the first half, the Seawolves defense forced 20 turnovers in twenty minutes to take a 60-22 lead at the break.  The second half was much of the same as the Seawolves limited Lakes Region to just 12 points.

Every member of the team put points on the board for SMCC. Freshman guard Chance Baldino (Biddeford, ME) led the way for the Seawolves with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Nate Dow (Old Orchard Beach, ME) scored 15 points on seven of nine shooting, and freshman forward Anderson Santana (South Boston, MA) contributed another well-rounded performance with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists.

SMCC will take a break for the holiday season and return to action on January 4^th when they host Rochester College (MI) at 6:00pm.
