Seawolves Earn Conference Victory Over UMaine-Augusta

The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team used balanced scoring and intense defense to earn a big conference win tonight over the visiting Moose of UMaine-Augusta, 77-47. SMCC led by only 10 at halftime, but would leave nothing to chance in the second half.  In the final 20 minutes, the Seawolves shot 46% from the field and 50% behind the three-point arc. 

The Seawolves had four players in double digits.  Leading the way was freshman guard Emmanuel Donalson (East Orange, NJ) with 23 points. Senior guard Josh Mackie (South Portland, ME) and freshman forward Anderson Santana (South Boston, MA) both contributed 12 points while freshman guard Chance Baldino (Biddeford, ME) chipped in 10.   

The Seawolves move to 9-12 overall and 3-9 in conference play.  The men travel to Dean College this Saturday, January 28th for a 3:00 PM game.
