The Seawolves of Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) fell to the Knights of Vermont Technical College (VTC) this afternoon 69-51. SMCC fought back after an early 22-8 run by the Knights to get within five before halftime.  Shots wouldn't fall for the Seawolves in the second half which allowed VTC to pull away with the victory.

Senior guard Josh Mackie (South Portland, ME) led the Seawolves with 17 points, including five 3-pointers.  Freshman forward Anderson Santana (South Boston, MA) contributed 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals.

SMCC moves to 10-15 overall and 4-11 in conference play. The men are on the road again on Tuesday, February 7th when they travel to conference rival Central Maine Community College.  Game time is slated for 8:00 PM.
