The Seawolves of Southern Maine Community College closed out their last home game of the season with a victory over Northern Essex Community College 71-61. In a brief ceremony before the game, SMCC honored senior guards Josh Mackie (South Portland, ME) and Joe Jardine (Greenville, ME) for their dedication to the program. Both student-athletes had strong performances in their last home appearance. Mackie led all scorers with 26 points including 7 three pointers, while point guard Jardine dished out 6 assists and grabbed 2 steals.

The Seawolves improve to 11-17 overall. The men finish their regular season schedule this Saturday, February 18th at Hampshire College. Game time is slated for 3:00PM.
