Auburn, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team beat rival Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) opponent Central Maine Community College (CMCC) 72-70. It was close throughout as the half time score was 35-35. With game tied 70-70 with 9 seconds left, Nouchanthavong drove right and hit a turn around fade away jump shot as time expired. 

The Seawolves were lead by sophomore guard Chance Baldino (Biddeford, ME) who came off the bench with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Sophomore point guard Jose Nouchanthavong (Westbrook, ME) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and the game winning jumper.

SMCC improves to 10-3 overall and 7-1 in conference play. Thier next game is scheduled for this Saturday, December 8th, home again YSCC opponent at Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC). Game time is scheduled for 2:00PM.
