Bulldogs Hand Seawolves First Loss

Franklin, MA - Tonight the Seawolves traveled to Massachusetts to face off against the Bulldogs of Dean College. The key to victory in tonight's contest was the battle of the boards which the Bulldogs won, giving themselves numerous second chance points and overcoming the undefeated Seawolves by a score of 88-72.

The Seawolves were led by the shooting performances of guard Atencio Martin (Kittery, ME) who scored 15 points on 7-7 shooting and forward Jacob Loveridge (Chertsey, England) who dropped in 12 points on 6-6 shooting. Martin and Loveridge each grabbed a game high five rebounds for the Seawolves. Other Seawolves in the double digit scoring column were guardsJon Amabile (Portland, ME) and Scott Proudman (Steep Falls, ME) who each chipped in 11 points and center Tong Akot (Manchester, NH) who put up 10 points.

With this loss the Seawolves drop to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Seawolves will return to action on Saturday November 23rd at home against Eastern Maine Community College at 3pm.
