Seawolves Take Down Rams

Unity - In tonight's YSCC conference matchup between the Seawolves of SMCC and the Rams of Unity College the Seawolves bench dropped in 78 points, outscoring the Rams and leading the Seawolves to a 107-77 victory. 

Seawolves center Tong Akot (Manchester, NH) came off the bench and poured in 14 of his team high 16 points in the first half helping the Seawolves to gain a 49-32 lead at halftime. Shooting guards Emmanuel Perry (Barnstable, MA) and Scott Proudman (Steep Falls, ME) scored 14 and 12 respectively. And guard Atencio Martin (Kittery, ME) chipped in 11.

Topping the scoring column for the Rams were Jared Straight (Palmer, AK) who scored 23 points to lead all scorers and Eddie Kopacz (Thompson, CT) who dropped in 18.

With this win the Seawolves improve to 10-1 overall and 5-0 in conference play. The Seawolves will return to action on Thursday December 5th against New Hampshire Technical Institute at home at 8pm.
