Seawolves Roll Past King's College

Seawolves Roll Past King's College

New York - The Seawolves started their first New York road trip game coming out to an early 15-0 lead and never looking back, defeating King's College by a score of 85-52. The defensive pressure and numerous offensive contributors for the Seawolves were too much King's.

The team once again relied on a balanced offensive attack with 11 players putting themselves in the scoring column. Leading the team was shooting guard Atencio Martin (Kittery, ME) who dropped in 15 points and point guard Jose Nouchanthavong (Westbrook, ME) who put up 14 points. Shooting guards Scott Proudman (Steep Falls, ME) and DJ Johnson IV (Grand Rapids, MI) each chipped in nine points and forward Micah Welch (Bar Harbor, ME) scored eight. Pacing King's College and leading all scorers was Santos, who dropped in 25 points.

With this win the Seawolves improve to 12-2 overall and remain 6-1 in YSCC conference play. The Seawolves will return to action Saturday December 21st at Vaughn College at 1pm.
