Seawolves Fall to Warriors in OT

New York - In this afternoon's basketball action the Seawolves battled against the Warriors of Vaughn College for 40 minutes and ended regulation with the score knotted at 82-82. In the overtime period the Warriors slipped past the Seawolves by a score of 90-86.

Leading the way for the Seawolves was center Tong Akot (Manchester, NH) who scored 18 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. Point guard Jose Nouchanthavong (Westbrook, ME) put up 19 points to go along with five assists, five rebounds, and four steals. Shooting guards Scott Proudman (Steep Falls, ME) chipped in 12 points and and five rebounds and Atencio Martin (Kittery, ME) put up 10 points and seven rebounds. 

Pacing the Warriors were guards Noel and Ndiba who scored 20 and 17 respectively. And forward Chaucer also put up 17 points while going 7-10 shooting from the free throw line.

With this loss the Seawolves drop to 12-3 overall and 6-1 in conference play. The Seawolves will return to action on Friday January 10th at the College of St. Joe's.
