UMA Defeats SMCC, Chaine Repeats as Low Medal Winner

Vassalboro - Today the men's golf team traveled to the Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro to compete against the golf team from the University of Maine - Augusta. Seawolves' team member Ben Chaine (Bridgton, ME) received low medalist honors for the second time in the Seawolves' two matches thus far, shooting a 79 on a par 72 course, but his low score wasn't enough to beat the consistency of the Moose who had all four golfers shoot between an 87 and a 93.

Grayson Waterman (Berwick, ME) came in second place overall shooting an 84 and teammates Sean Doran (Saco, ME) and Nathan Beaulieu (Biddeford, ME) shot a 97 and a 100 respectively. UMA golfers Jacob Roddy and Keith Ross tied for third place, each shooting an 87, Bobby Greig was right on their heels with an 88 and Keith Priest rounded out the foursome with a 93.

The Seawolves will be back on the course on Saturday September 20th at Sable Oaks.
