Orono - Yesterday the golf team competed in the YSCC Qualifier match hosted by Eastern Maine CC. The teams that competed included Eastern Maine CC, University of Maine - Augusta, NHTI, Great Bay CC, University of Maine - Presque Isle and Southern Maine CC.

SMCC was led by freshman Grayson Waterman (Berwick, ME) for the second consecutive week. Waterman shot a team best 86, placing 13th among the 30 competitors. Nathan Beaulieu (Biddeford, ME) shot a 100 on the afternoon and Sean Doran (Saco, ME) ended with a 111, neither of those scores ranked among the top 20.
