SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf program will return second-year Head Coach Ethan Wells and shoot a six-match schedule this fall 2017 with redemption in mind—coming off a second place finish at the 2016 Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) championship round a season ago.

The SeaWolves will tee off at Beaver Meadow Golf Club (Concord, N.H.) on Saturday, September 9^th in their first match of the season, a course the team posted a combined 360 and second place finish to start the 2016 season.

Val Halla Golf Course (Cumberland, Maine) will be the site SMCC and the rest of the YSCC field will look to conquer on September 16^th before the SeaWolves return to Beaver Meadow on September 23^rd with hopes to improve their card from week one.

SMCC will attend the conference invitational at Augusta Country Club (Augusta, Maine) on September 30^th before hosting at Purpoodock Golf Club (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) on Sunday, October 1^st.

The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) two-day championship event is set for Sunday, October 8^th and Monday, October 9^th at the Penn State Blue Course (State College, Penn.) followed by the YSCC championship round at Pease Golf Course (Portsmouth, N.H.) on Saturday, October 14^th.
