Men’s Soccer Comes Back in the Second Half to Beat CMCC

After being down 2-1 at halftime, the Seawolves turned it on in the second half to beat conference rival Central Maine Community College 3-2.  Freshman Wadhah Al-Shammari (Portland, ME) scored just before halftime off an assist from senior Nick Link (South Portland, ME).  In the sixty-third minute, junior Keith McClure (Buxton, ME) assisted the tying goal by sophomore Peter Dorer (Westbrook, ME).  The Seawolves wasted no time scoring the winning goal as freshman Jonathan Coyne (Cumberland, ME) scored off an assist by junior Blais Whitney (Cornish, ME) in the sixty-sixth minute. 

Freshman keeper Corey Grigas (Hardwick, MA) played ninety minutes in the net tallying three saves.

The Seawolves are now 3-0 in conference play and 3-2 overall.  The next match is scheduled at home against NHTI on Saturday, September 17th at 2:00PM
