Men's Soccer drops first game to Albany College of Pharmacy

The SMCC Seawolves lost their first game of the season to the Albany College of Pharmacy Panthers with a score of 7-1.  The Panthers started strong with two quick goals in the sixth and eleventh minute and never looked back.  SMCC got on the scoreboard late in the game when a throw-in bounced around the box before Kyle Ehlers (Ludlow, VT ) was able to score with Blais Whitney (Cornish, ME) getting credit for the assist.  In response to the effort Coach Brian Dougher stated "I felt the men played well for their first game, but we also saw a lot of things to work on this week in practice." The Seawolves take the field tomorrow for day two of the Albany College of Pharmacy Tournament facing Springfield Tech at 11:00AM.
