Seawolves Take Down the Mustangs

Auburn, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team beat the Mustangs of Central Maine Community College (CMCC) this afternoon by a score of 3-0. The Seawolves scored all three goals in the first half to put away the Mustangs. 

Leading the way for SMCC was junior midfielder Kyle Ehlers (Ludlow, VT). Ehlers contributed to all 3 goals, recording 2 goals and 1 assist.  Freshman Bojan Sikima (Laconia, NH) contributed the other goal while Adam Timberlake (Auburn, ME) recorded 1 assist. 

Freshmen goalies Dakota Bush (Casco, ME) and Robby Griffin (Union, ME) shared time in goal for the Seawolves.  Bush recorded 3 saves in 75 minutes while Griffin recorded 1 save in 15 minutes.

SMCC improves to 9-4 overall and 9-2 in conference play. The men are in action again this Thursday, October 11th when they host Vermont Technical College at 4:00PM.
