Unity – SMCC forward Jack Carter (Saco, ME) scored off an assist from teammate Bojan Sikima (Laconia, NH) at the 23rd minute of play to give the Seawolves a 1-0 victory in today's' YSCC conference matchup against Unity College.
Despite Unity's best offensive effort they could not get a ball in the net past SMCC's goalie duo of Josh McDuffie (South Portland, ME) and Dan Couverette II (Augusta, ME). The pair managed to shutout the Rams, each acquiring five saves in 45 minutes of play.
With this win the Seawolves improve to overall 3-3-0 and 2-1-0 in conference play. They will return to action Sunday 22nd at the University of Maine – Augusta at 3pm.
