Seawolves Overcome Mustangs 4-1

South Portland - During the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) East Division Play in game, the Seawolves used three first half goals tp pull away from the visiting Mustangs from Central Maine Community College to complete a 4-1 win.  The victory gives the Seawolves a berth in the YSCC Final Four this weekend at NHTI in Concord, New Hampshire.

SMCC offense got scoring from Nicholas Oram (Topsham, ME) and Brett Stillwell (Richmond, ME).  In the net, the Seawolves got outstanding play from Dan Couverette (Augusta, ME) who had 10 saves on the day.  

With the win, The Seawolves are now 10-5-1 overall and will face the #1 seed from the west division on Saturday, October 19th in the YSCC semi finals.  Central Maine Community College finishes the year at 8-4-1 overall.
