Seawolves, Rams End in Scoreless Tie

Seawolves, Rams End in Scoreless Tie

Unity - This afternoon the Seawolves soccer team went up against YSCC opponent Unity College, ending the contest with a scoreless tie after 110 minutes of play.

Seawolves' goalkeeper Spencer Hoyt (Rochester, NH) had five saves on the afternoon, while his defensive line did a fantastic job holding on of the conference's top scorers, Jake Scoveil, to limited chances with most of the shots by Unity coming from the range.

The noteworthy performance for the Seawolves defense came from freshmanRobert Rose (Gardiner, ME) who played all 110 minutes of this afternoons' game and out hustled Unity's attack. On the offensive side of the ball action was led by forward Jack Carter (Saco, ME) who had three shots including one that hit both posts before bouncing out.

The Seawolves now sport a 2-4-2 overall record and will use a week of preparation to get ready to avenge an earlier loss to the University of Maine - Machias when they travel to UMM on Saturday September 27th for a 3pm contest.
