South Portland - The Seawolves were able to build on their momentum from their big win on Sunday with a shutout victory, 3-0, over the Mustangs of Central Maine CC yesterday afternoon.
The Seawolves were able to build a two goal advantage in the first half thanks to unassisted goals from both midfielder Douglas Cloutier (Berwick, ME) and forward Steve Rwendeye (Kigali, Rawanda). In the second half Ahmed Al-Shammari (Portland, ME) dished out a assist to Sean Jackson (Berwick, ME) who scored his fourth goal of the season to give the Seawolves a 3-0 victory.
The Seawolves defense was able to hold the Mustangs to just three shots on goals for the game.
With this win the Seawolves improve to 3-2-1 (2-0 YSCC) and will look to continue this streak into Saturday when they play at Dean College at 3pm.
