Randolph, VT - The Lady Seawolves opened up the 2015 season with a big win on the road against Vermont Technical College, beating the Lady Knights 8-0.

The Seawolves wasted no time getting on the scoreboard when Kym Hendrix (Waterboro, ME) netted the first goal 12:26 into the game. SMCC would tack on four more goals before halftime getting a goal and an assist from both Sarah Clough (Mount Vernon, ME) and Lourdes Palacious (Sioux City, IA) and two goals from Hannah Fields (Shapleigh, ME). The Seawolves were able to carry the momentum into the second half when midfielder Tori Cormier (Lebanon, ME) scored just eight minutes in. Zyrah Giustra (New Sharon, ME) and Samantha Cleaves (North Yarmouth, ME) rounded out the Seawolves scoring efforts each knocking in a goal.

The Lady Seawolves (1-0-0, 1-0-0 YSCC) are back on the road on Wednesday September 9th at NHTI at 4:15pm.
