Concord, NH - This afternoon the Lady Seawolves defeated conference foe and reigning YSCC Champions, NHTI, by a score of 1-0 to pick up their second win of the season. 

The two teams battled for 87 minutes with neither finding their way onto the scoreboard but with three minutes remaining SMCC midfielder Hannah Fields (Shapleigh, ME) took a corner kick that bounced to teammate Sarah Clough (Mount Vernon, ME). Clough played the ball back to Fields who proceeded to rip a low cross to Kym Hendrix (Waterboro, ME) who buried the ball in the back of the net. 

With this win the Seawolves improve to 2-0-0 overall and in conference play. The next test for the Lady Seawolves will come on Sunday September 13th when they host the University of Maine - Machias at noon.
