Seawolves Blank Hudson Valley CC

TROY, N.Y.—Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's soccer took home a 2-0 victory at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) in non-conference action on Sunday, Sept. 10.

The Seawolves jumped on the scoreboard in the first half courtesy of a top-corner goal by sophomore captain Jordyn Condon (Newport, Maine). Sophomore winger Chanelle McDonough (Gorham, Maine) doubled the SMCC lead by beating the opposing goalkeeper on a shot coming from the edge of the box inside the 86th minute.

The Seawolves add to their 2-1 record and return home to begin Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) scheduling with the Moose from the University of Maine at Augusta on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Kickoff at Wainwright Sports Complex is set for 4:00 p.m.
