In Loving Memory of Timothy Hagerman (1985-2011)

On Sunday, December 26th 2011, former Seawolves basketball player, Tim Hagerman, passed away at Maine Medical Center from his year long battle against cancer. Hagerman played for the Seawolves in 2007 and 2008 as a member of back-to-back Yankee Small College Conference championship teams.  During his basketball career, Hagerman's teams went on to semi-final finishes at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II national tournament.

"Timmy was one of those guys that pumped life into your team," stated Head Coach Matt Richards. "He was full of energy, cared for his teammates, and always strived to make himself and others around him better. He took those qualities and became an outstanding young man and husband. I will truly miss him every day."

Upon leaving SMCC, Hagerman worked at TD Bank and was a successful businessman. He owned his own snow removal company and also found time to moonlight as a disc jockey. Hagerman was recently married to Molly Findlay and the couple resided in South Portland.  During the last month of his life, Hagerman was surrounded by many family and friends.

Hagerman is survived by his wife Molly, parents Reis and Cathy Hagerman and sisters Lauren and Lindsey. Visiting hours have been set for 4:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 30th at Conroy and Tully Funeral Home on Broadway Street in South Portland. His funeral will be held at the Holy Cross Church in South Portland on Friday, December 31st at 9:00 AM.
