SOUTH PORTLAND, ME - The SMCC baseball team won the fall NECA Baseball Championship yesterday at the Ball Park in Old Orchard Beach. 

In game one, the Seawolves upset the number one seeded Vermont Technical College 8-0.  Sophomore pitcher, CJ Giles (Dexter, ME) was credited with the win after pitching all 7 innings.

In game two, the Seawolves upset the number two seeded team Central Maine Community College in route to being crowed the fall NECA Champions.

The fall season is now complete and the Seawolves will train in the off season to come back just as strong and compete for the YSCC Championship.
