Seawolves Drop Second Straight Game in Virginia

Hampton, VA. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team dropped their second straight game of their five game road trip to Apprentice College by a score of 10-4. The Seawolves opened up a 3-0 lead after the third inning but couldn't hang on.  

The Seawolves were led by freshman Devin Lyshon (Bangor, ME) who went 2 for 4 with a Run Batted In. Sophomore Michael Calabrese (Dover, NH) added a RBI and a run scored while junior Jeremy Gearty (Lebanon, ME) chipped in a run and 2 walks.

SMCC drops to 11-7-1 overall and remains 3-1 in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC). The Seawolves were only able to squeeze in one game of their double header games so the will play their second tomorrow against United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) opponent Apprentice College at 1:00pm. SMCC will follow up with a single game against College of Albermarle at 5:00pm.
