South Portland - This afternoon SMCC faced off against conference rival Eastern Maine CC. The strong performance of centerfielder Alex Brown (Weymouth, MA), who hit a double and a homerun that knocked in two of the games five runs, led the Seawolves to a 5-3 triumph.

The combined pitching efforts of Timothy Andersen (Beverly, MA), Michael Mageles (Bridgton, ME), Dylan Morrow (Hays, TX), and Deion Stewart (Eliot, ME) gave up only two hits and zero earned runs over five innings. EMCC was led by Joseph Bracero (Lajas, Puerto Rico) and Justin Amoroso (Newport, ME) who both went two for three for the afternoon.

With this win the Seawolves improve to 5-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play. They will return to action Saturday 21st at home versus Mass Bay Community College at 1pm.
