Seawolves Down Mustangs 5-1

South Portland, ME- This afternoon the Seawolves faced off against conference rival Central Maine Community College in YSCC baseball action. An impressive outing by the SMCC pitching staff led to a 5-1 Seawolves win. 

The Seawolves' pitching staff of Michael Mageles (Bridgton, ME), Anthony Campagnoli (Rockland, ME), Kyle Reichert (Portland, ME) and Phillip Langley (Shawnee, OK) combined to allow just one unearned run,two hits and nine strike outs. Mageles threw four innings of shut out ball to pick up the win. 

SMCC started the scoring in the second with an RBI sacrifice fly by Brandon Locke (Groveland, MA), a passed ball and an RBI double by Joe Apon (Portland, ME). The Seawolves added a run in the fifth with an RBI double by Reichert and again in the sixth with an RBI double by Jon Daniszewski (Laconia, NH). 

With this win the Seawolves improve to 14-6 overall and 7-2 (YSCC). They will play again on Saturday, April 18th at home when they face off against NHTI in a doubleheader at 12 and 2 pm.
