Seawolves Can't Fight off Bulldogs

South Portland, ME- The Southern Maine CC Seawolves hosted the Bulldogs of Dean College this afternoon. The Bulldogs took down the Seawolves 12-2 in both games of the doubleheader. 

In the first game, center fielder Alex Brown (Weymouth, MA) RBI tripled to bring in freshman Brandon Locke (Groveland, MA). Secondbasemen Justin Ciszewski (Auburn, ME) brought home Brown with a double to left field. 

Nathan Dorion threw the shortened complete game for the Bulldogs holding the Seawovles to four hits and two runs. 

To finish out the night, the Seawolves and Bulldogs were in a fight until the top of the seventh when Dean pushed across ten straight runs, lengthening their lead to 12-0. The Seawolves responded with two runs on an two RBI triple by Brown to finish the game. 

Anthony Campagnoli (Rockland, ME) pitched strong for the first six innings, allowing only two runs to come across the plate for the Bulldogs, while striking out three batters. 

The Seawolves are now 16-10 and will travel to College of St. Joseph's (VT) tomorrow for a doubleheader starting at 1:00 pm.
