Seawolves, Wolverines End in Draw at Five Runs Apiece

**Correction - this game was a countable game, not an exhibition game.

Bridgton -  The Seawolves' baseball team kicked off their fall season this afternoon with a game at Bridgton Academy. After nine innings a winner could not be determined and the game ended in a 5-5 tie. 

The Seawolves' offense was led by Shawn Murphy (Poland, ME) who had three hits on the afternoon, including a homerun. Freshman catcher Caleb Chambers (Lebanon, ME) scored two of the five SMCC runs while Cam Brochu (Manchester, ME) and Caleb Burpee (Kennebunk, ME) each chipped in with an RBI.

The bullpen for this afternoon's game included veterans Nate Boyle (Windham, ME) and Kyle Reichert (Portland, ME) and newcomers Amos Herrin (Wilton, ME) and Ben Johnson (Cambridge, MA). 

The Seawolves will play their next game on Saturday when the travel to the College of St. Joseph's in Vermont for a double header at 1 and 3pm.
