St. Clair Slips by Seawolves, 4-2

The Seawolves faced off against St. Clair Community College in game two. SMCC freshman Caleb Chambers (Lebanon, ME) took the mound for his debut and after a three run homer in the first he allowed only one unearned run in the bottom of the sixth. Unfortunately the Seawolves were unable to generate much on offense. Shawn Murphy (Poland, ME) hit an RBI ground out to put SMCC on the scoreboard and Kyle Reichert (Portland, ME) nailed a solo homerun, his third homer of the spring trip, but the St. Clair closer pitched a 1-2-3 inning to solidify the 4-2 triumph.

The Seawolves (7-10-1) will be back on the field this afternoon, March 17th, with games at 12pm and 3pm.
