Baseball Splits With NECC In Fall Finale

HAVERHILL, Mass.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team split with Northern Essex Community College (NECC) in an exhibition doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 14. NECC, a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Down 6-0 in the first game, the SeaWolves came storming back to complete an 11-8 come-from-behind win. SMCC was blanked 8-0 in the second of the double dip.

The SeaWolves conclude their fall season at an 11-3 overall mark, 9-3 in Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) play. Baseball is scheduled to open its spring schedule in Florida, dates and opponents TBA.
