SMCC Baseball Goes 1-1 In Day 2 In Florida

RUSSMATT CENTRAL FLORIDA INVITATIONAL— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team earned a split today Sunday, Mar. 11 at Pat Thomas Stadium in Leesburg, Fl. defeating Schenectady County Community College (N.Y.) 7-5 in seven innings and suffering a one-run loss to Brookdale Community College (N.J.) 7-6 in the second half of the doubleheader.

The SeaWolves sport a 13-5 record overall and are 2-2 thus far at the Russmatt Invitational.

SMCC plays a single nine-inning game tomorrow Monday, Mar. 12 against National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)-opponent Rowan College at Gloucester County (N.J.). First pitch is schedule for 1 p.m.
