MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team dropped both in another two-team twin bill in its second day of spring training on Monday, Mar. 9.

SMCC was run-ruled 13-3 after five innings of play to Penn State University Greater Allegheny and was shutout 7-0 to NJCAA-opponent Union County College in the later matinee.

First-year outfielder Jackson Bowlen (Rochester, N.H.) totaled two hits in two trips in the first game and junior captain Colby Gunter (Nashua, N.H) did the same in the second.

The results leave SMCC 11-5 on the season in combination with its fall record.

Next, the SeaWolves will get the Nittany Lions from Penn State University Beaver under the lights Tuesday, Mar. 10. First pitch is under the lights at 8:30 p.m.

All box scores will be processed and recorded as soon as possible.
