Baseball

Kyle Colburn begins his second year as a member of the Seawolves' baseball coaching staff.

 

A graduate of Lebanon High School (N.H.), Colburn was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball earning him seven varsity letters. Colburn moved on to play baseball at Norwich University, and during his time as a Cadet also served as the manager to the men's basketball team.

 

Colburn comes to SMCC with many years of coaching experience, working his way through the ranks of junior high school head coaching positions and varsity high school assistant stints. Pior to his hire at SMCC, Colburn served as Varsity Head Coach to the Mascoma football program for four years. Colburn continues to coach football as the Head Junior Varisty Coach at South Portland High School.

 

In addition to his duties on the diamond, Colburn works as an Athletics Facilities Specialist and is finishing his degree in Criminal Justice at the College.
