Men's team pick up two wins

AUBURN, ME - The Seawolves men's basketball team picked up two wins this weekend at the Can-Am games hosted by Central Maine Community College.  The Seawolves are now 2-0 on the season.

In the first game, Saturday, October 30th against the Tommies of St. Thomas the Seawolves came out strong from the tip-off and never looked back beating the Tommies 89-69.  Junior guard, Josh Mackie led all scores with 21 points, while teammate Paul Holland chipped in 19 points and freshman guard Jose Nouchanthavong added 10 points.

The Seawolves led 38-33 at half time and their tenacious defense throughout the game forced 21 St. Thomas turnovers.  

In game two of the weekend against Nova Scotia, the Seawolves were victorious beating the Rams 91-54.  Sharp shooter Josh Mackie was the high scorer with 17 points while teammates Paul Holland and Coleman Findlay had 14 respectively.  

The SMCC men's team will host Nashua Community College in their home opener on Thursday, November 4th. Game time set for 8:00pm.
